Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) - Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke - Industrial are the fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke prices are changed by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices were increased as on 16/2/2021 , for the second half of February across all the oil marketing companies. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are increased by Rs.1660 at Rs.35029.82 per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are hiked by Rs.1700 or 4.19% to Rs.42310/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are marginally up by Rs.2741 per KL to Rs.72951.85 per KL from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices are ticked up by Rs.1730 to Rs.39610/- per KL and Petcoke price are increased by Rs.760 to Rs.10110 wef 16/2/2021.
