Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) - Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke - Industrial are the fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke prices are changed by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices are changed insignificantly wef 16/05/2020 , for the second half of May across all the oil marketing company depos following the global oil price trends. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down marginally by Rs.590 per KL or 3% to Rs.18829.82 per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are reduced insignificantly by Rs.200 per KL or 0.94% at Rs.21130/- per KL from Visakha depo. Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are ticked up abnormally by Rs.14313 per KL to Rs.51653 per KL from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices are decreased by Rs.620 or 2.71% and Petcoke prices are slipped by Rs.850 at Rs.6150 wef 16/5/2020.
