Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) – Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke are the Industrial fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Petcoke and Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) prices changed mix by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.

As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices decreased on 16/9/2022 , for the second half of September across all the oil marketing companies. The  Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down by Rs.3090 to Rs.45469.82 or 6.36% per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are revised down by Rs.830 or 1.05% to Rs.78330/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are up by Rs.4100 per KL to Rs.103072.74 per KL from VJA depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices in Mumbai decreased by Rs.3360 to Rs.50370/- per MT while Petcoke prices decreased by Rs.15920 wef 16/9/2022.
