Furnace Oil (F.O), Light Diesel Oil (LDO), Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) - Industrial , Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke - Industrial are the fuels largely used as a fuel to generate electricity and heat in different sectors. Being market-linked, Furnace Oil (FO), Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO), Low Sulphur Heavy Stock(LSHS) and Petcoke prices are changed by Oil marketing companies (OMCs) on a fortnightly basis in India.
As We predicted, In India, Industrial fuel oil prices are revised down wef 16/02/2020 , for the second half of February across all the oil marketing company depos. The Furnace oil (F.O) basic prices are revised down by Rs.270 per KL or 0.87% to Rs.30649.82 per KL, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) prices are decreased by Rs.1300 per KL or 3.18% to Rs.39550/- per KL from Visakha depo, Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO-Industrial) prices are changed marginally on downside to Rs.54200 from Visakha depo, Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) prices are slipped by Rs.790 or 2.3% and Petcoke prices are slightly increased with Rs.450/- per Mt at Rs.6870 wef 16/2/2020.
