DIESEL PETROL PRICES TREND IN INDIA
In India, Diesel and petrol prices are changed daily in line with a rise and fall of global oil prices. Following the daily price revision of auto fuels in India, Diesel oil and petrol prices are hiked for the fourth day in a row. As per the Oil marketing companies publication, Petrol prices are increased by 40 paise per liter or 0.5% while diesel oil prices rose by 45 paise or 0.63 pct from yesterday's price in the national capital of India. Both the auto fuel oil retail prices are ballooned up by above 3% for last four days after a gap of around 80 days during the lock down period. Petrol prices are spiked by Rs.2.14 per liter while Diesel prices are burdened by Rs.2.23 a liter since the easing of lockdown across India from Monday on wards.
In Hyderabad, Petrol is being sold at Rs.76.20 and Diesel at Rs.70.00 a liter today. In Delhi, Petrol is priced at Rs.69.59 and diesel at Rs.62.29 per liter. In Kolkata, Petrol is now selling at Rs.73.40 and diesel at Rs.71.62 a liter. In Mumbai, Petrol and diesel are costing Rs.80.40 and Rs.70.35 respectively. Petrol pumps are charging Rs.77.43 and Rs.70.13 per liter respectively in Chennai. Turning to global markets, Crude oil benchmark price indexes are demonstrating upward momentum for last couple of weeks following the producer's agreed upon deep production cuts and revival of demand across the global post easing of lockdown.
BIODIESEL PRICE TRENDS
Biodiesel prices are bench marked with diesel prices in Indian retail market. The retail prices of bio diesel remain unchanged today and trended to follow the changes in diesel prices in India. Bio diesel B100 and B50 graded fuel prices are sold at competitive prices in Hyderabad retail market. The crude palm oil futures for August delivery rose 6 ringgits to 2,394 ringgits while FKLI futures for June delivery traded 12.4 ringgits up at 1574.4 ringgits over Bursa Malaysia exchange.
