DIESEL PETROL PRICES TREND IN INDIA

In India, Diesel and petrol prices are changed daily in line with a rise and fall of global oil prices. Following the daily price revision of auto fuels in India, Today, Petrol prices are remained unchanged while diesel prices are increased by 25 paise or 0.31 pct from Yesterday price across the country. Pause in petrol and diesel price hike for the last 7 days could not be sustained today. Both the motor fuels retail prices are hiked during the last month after 83 days of hiatus due to lock down. Petrol prices are ballooned up by Rs.9.17 with 12.1% hike while diesel prices are pushed up by Rs.11.39 with a rise of 15.26% spike during the last 31 days.  

In Hyderabad, Petrol is being sold at Rs.83.49 and Diesel at Rs.78.92 a liter today in Hyderabad retail market. In Delhi, Petrol is priced at Rs.80.43 and diesel at Rs.80.78 per liter. In Kolkata, Petrol is now selling at Rs.82.10 and diesel at Rs.75.89 a liter. In Mumbai, Petrol and diesel  are costing Rs.87.19 and Rs.79.05 respectively. Petrol pumps are charging Rs.83.63 and Rs.77.91 per liter respectively in Chennai.


BIODIESEL PRICE TRENDS

Biodiesel prices are bench marked with diesel prices in Indian retail market. The retail prices of bio diesel remain unchanged today and trended to follow the changes in diesel prices in India.  Bio diesel B100 and B50 graded fuel prices are sold at competitive prices in Hyderabad retail market. Crude palm oil futures (FCPO) to be delivered in Sep sank 31 ringgits to 2360 ringgits while FKLI July futures are down 25.50 ringgits to 1553.5 ringgits on Bursa Malaysia.
